James is a Fort Worth native, born and raised in River Oaks. He has always been rather intelligent, graduating top of his class as valedictorian with dreams of persuing a white collar career. Somewhere along the lines his passion for art took over and he made a hard pivot into the tattoo world. His first step into the industry began as a humble piercer. From there he poured hundreds of hours into his art and his apprenticeship, quickly gaining notice among the Fort Worth locals as a reputable and trust worthy artist. Through nothing less than hard work and dedication, he continues his tattoo career at his shop, Scarlet Tyde Tattoo. 

Outside of tattooing James enjoys golf, fishing, and making quality memories. Amongst that he is a great cook and can recreate any meal into a delicious gluten friendly option. His favorite color is blue and he enjoys anything to do with the ocean and traveling.
